Hot water bottle becomes a danger: woman suffers terrible burns!
Hackney (England) - A woman from London wanted to save on heating costs and therefore used a hot water bottle - but she had no idea that this decision would lead to a dramatic stay in hospital.

As the Daily Mail reports, 29-year-old Englishwoman Sophia Pauley experienced a nightmare when she filled her hot water bottle as usual on a cold day and lay down in bed.
What started out as a supposedly harmless ritual, however, ended in a terrible incident : suddenly the hot water began to pour out of the bottle - directly onto her skin.
The container had a hole through which the hot water flowed unstoppably onto her thighs and burned her.
Sophia screamed in panic from the sharp pain and rushed to the shower to cool her wounds.
She quickly dialed 911, who advised her to get into a cold bath for 45 minutes to soothe the burns. She was then taken to the emergency room where she was treated immediately.
Sophia Pauley suffered second-degree burns
After the excruciating experience, Sophia struggled for a whole week with severe pain that made it difficult for her to walk and even go to the toilet. She vowed never to use a hot water bottle again and advises anyone who owns one to dispose of it immediately.
A month later, the burns have largely healed, but the skin remains sensitive. Sophia must also avoid the sun for at least two years to prevent further damage.
