Involved in drug deals? German couple missing in Spain for ten months
Neuenkirchen/Spain - What happened to Ralf B. and Petra G.? The two North Germans have been missing since July 2024. Clues lead to a possible dark secret.

The investigators are still puzzled. But an ex-employee from the missing couple's company has now provided further clues. The trail leads into the drug milieu.
Ralf B. and Petra G. (both 53) from the small town of Neunkirchen in Lower Saxony have been missing since July 19, 2024. More precisely, the trail was lost in Spain.
A mobile home belonging to the German couple was found in the notorious La Mina, a dangerous neighborhood in Sant Adrià de Besòs near Barcelona - unlocked, with the ignition key in the lock.
In the vehicle: suitcases, medication, two e-bikes, Petra's passport - and even two pets! Locked in cages, a dog and a cat were left behind in the camper van.
The couple were last seen checking out of a hotel in La Jonquera, not far from the French border, on the day they disappeared. They were accompanied by a third person. However, it is unclear who the escort was.
German couple was apparently heavily in debt

A former employee of Ralf and Petra has a suspicion: the ex-employee does not rule out criminal activities. After all, Ralf took over a Hamburg-based fruit and vegetable wholesaler last year - along with its employees.
"In May, we received deliveries of pineapples and bananas from Colombia, but we never received any invoices for them," the ex-employee told Olive Press.
"We only received the locations of the containers - but only a few were unloaded. The rest remained in the port and were eventually disposed of. We all suspected that there were drugs in there and suspected that Ralf was involved, but we weren't sure," he said suspiciously.
What's more, the couple is said to have been insolvent with several companies and heavily in debt. According to BILD, an insolvency administrator listed more than 1.5 million euros in debts to the creditors.
On X, the account "Alterta Desaparecidos" (Spanish organization SOS Desaparecidos) published a photo of the couple as well as the contact to which witnesses can turn for information.
Both the Spanish police and the German criminal investigation department are now assuming that a crime has been committed.
"We have been investigating the missing persons case for several months. The police know that relatives last had telephone contact with the missing persons on July 15, 2024. However, it is not known where they were at that time," explained a police spokesperson, according to Bild.
