Footage published on TikTok shows at least six yellow-orange dots over the Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base above the city of Kokomo.

The as yet unidentified flying objects appeared to whizz through the air at high speed, flickered and finally vanished into thin air.

Christina Sharp filmed the spectacle. "I'm not really sure what this is supposed to be," the US-American can be heard saying in the short clip.

According to an anonymous tipster, however, the facts are clear. As the Daily Mail reported, the stranger contacted the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) in the United States and described his observations down to the smallest detail!

The unknown person claimed to have seen a huge rectangle on a radar that flew in zigzags and emitted a "clearly defined vapor shock wave with a tail".

According to his estimates, the observed rectangle had a length of around 32 kilometers!

However, as with all suspected UFO sightings, the evidence is pretty thin on the ground. No one can say for sure whether a mysterious flying object actually appeared in the sky.

The US Air Force is said to have kept a low profile on the case so far. However, independent observers are of the opinion that the bright dots in the sky could be flares dropped by military aircraft.
