Kidnapping ends fatally: YouTuber (†26) shot and dumped in the sea

Sibucu - The US YouTuber Elliot Eastman was kidnapped by armed men in the Philippines. It is now certain that he died that same evening.

As the Philippine News Agency reports, the 26-year-old American was abducted on October 17 by men posing as police officers.

So far there has been no trace of him, but the police have now confirmed that he died the same evening and his body was dumped in the sea.

Elliot had been abducted from his home in Sibuco just a few months after marrying a local woman.

The kidnapping attracted a great deal of public interest, but the investigation initially seemed to lead nowhere.

It was not until the end of November that the case of the abducted American took a turn for the worse when one of the suspects was arrested.

This suspect finally confessed to his involvement in the kidnapping and provided crucial information about the course of the crime.

However, two other suspects are still on the run.

Despite these developments, Elliot's body remains unaccounted for and the exact motive behind the crime is still unclear.
