Man bites into a chocolate bar and wonders: Then he takes a closer look
Bristol (England) - Apparently he got more than he bargained for. Daniel (37) actually only wanted to share a Cadbury Dairy Milk Daim bar with his fiancée and their son (2) last month. But then the man from Bristol in England felt something strange.

"Something felt funny on my lips," the Brit said in an interview with Newsweek this week. "I looked and there it was: a pretty big piece of plastic," he explained. At first he didn't think anything of it, he just thought it was "cool".
But then, in the middle of the week, the 37-year-old posted a photo of the curious bar on Reddit, where he immediately received a lot of feedback.
Many users advised him to inform the manufacturer so that any further contaminated bars could be removed from the shelves.
"Nothing happened to me, but a child could have been hurt," Daniel told the US magazine. His fiancée had also pointed out the risk to him.
Newsweek contacted the manufacturer for this reason.
Manufacturer would like to investigate product

A spokesperson for Mondelēz International, the parent company of Cadbury, told the news magazine: "The safety and quality of our products is of paramount importance to us and we regret this experience."
He added: "We would welcome the opportunity to investigate this matter directly and ask the individual concerned to contact our customer service team for assistance."
Daniel has not yet taken any action in this regard. However, he assured the news portal that he would look into it soon.
The manufacturer will probably then ask him why the piece of plastic in the photo looks so clean. At least there is not the slightest trace of chocolate on it.
The Englishman could of course have cleaned it. Then the question arises as to why the rest of the chocolate looks so untouched. And finally the question of whether he might have put the piece in himself...
