Man takes injured woman home after crash - she is then brutally abused
USA - It is an unimaginably cruel act: after a traffic accident, a man is said to have taken an injured woman home and sexually abused her there instead of calling for help.

40-year-old Brendan Lee Jones was arrested in the US state of Florida on Thursday.
As People reports, the horrific incident took place a good two years ago.
In September 2023, Jones picked up the woman from a grocery store - presumably to sell her drugs.
While driving, the two were involved in a rear-end collision in which the woman was injured, according to Local 10.
According to her statement, Jones initially left the scene of the accident, but returned a short time later with a friend.
Although the woman was in severe pain and unable to move on her own, the 40-year-old reportedly refused to take her to the hospital.
The woman then asked to at least be taken home. However, Jones apparently drove her to his own apartment instead. There she is said to have fallen asleep in bed and later woken up in the middle of the sexual assault.
Suspect is in custody
According to the police , Jones allegedly said, among other things, "I can do what I want" and "Open your damn legs, it's your fault that I caused the accident."
Immediately after the crime, the woman pressed charges. However, the investigators were initially unable to find any traces of sexual assault.
It was only when DNA traces on her body were matched that the 40-year-old was linked to the crime last year. This ultimately led to his arrest.
Brendan Lee Jones is currently in custody awaiting trial.
