Man violently drags woman into car, but he doesn't expect her reaction

Brighton (Great Britain) - A man tried to kidnap a 20-year-old woman in Hove , England , and forcefully dragged her into his car. But she fought back with all her might and managed to escape. However, the horrific scenes will not let her go.

Video footage released by Sussex Police on Facebook shows the ruthless and planned act of Cameron Boxall.

Driving a stolen car, he parked next to his chosen victim and asked her for directions at a junction. Without warning, the 22-year-old, who had covered his face with a balaclava, got out and began dragging the young woman into the Mini Cooper.

She kept shouting "No" and tried to escape her attacker by kicking around. But Boxall pulled her to the open passenger side door and pushed the woman inside.

In the clip, the 20-year-old's legs can still be seen hanging out of the car as the perpetrator drives off.

According to theNew York Post, the victim is said to have wrestled with Boxall in the car until he finally pushed her out. A passer-by is said to have helped the woman, who was in shock.

After the attack, the woman suffered not only physical but also emotional damage. Apart from the numerous scratches, bruises and bumps, her view of the world had changed.

Boxall confesses his actions in court

"I didn't do anything wrong and I didn't deserve what happened to me," says the 20-year-old.

She could not understand the level of violence he had inflicted on her, but she was glad to be alive at all.

During his trial, Boxall testified that he had wanted to rob the woman in order to settle a drug debt.

He was eventually sentenced to five years in prison after admitting to stealing the car, kidnapping the woman and being in possession of marijuana .

Boxall also received a restraining order against his victim.
