Measles alert in ski resort: have more people been infected?
Austria - Measles alert in Austria ! Now even the municipality is issuing a warning.

The Gmunden district authority has called for caution.
This is because winter sports enthusiasts and visitors who were out and about in the Gosau, Dachstein West region on December 27 could be at risk.
Because a person infected with measles visited the Sonnenalm on the Zwieselalm at around 1 pm, others present should now be particularly careful.
"Due to the high infectiousness of this disease, it is possible that other people have been infected with the measles virus", according to the authorities, as reported by"heute.at".
People who were there at the time and "do not have immunity from two measles-mumps-rubella vaccinations or from having had measles" should monitor their state of health and, if necessary, check and update their vaccination status.
The incubation period for measles is 21 days. If symptoms such as fever, dry cough, runny nose or conjunctivitis occur during this time, those affected should contact their doctor.
