Mexico instead of New York: Case of missing photographer takes a surprising turn
USA/Mexico - She never reached her dream destination of New York: the disappearance of 31-year-old Hannah Kobayashi has raised many questions. But now there is a new clue in the mysterious case - she was seen crossing the border into Mexico!
Around three weeks after the disappearance of the Hawaiian woman , the relevant authorities announced yesterday, Monday, that the 31-year-old was filmed one day after the last contact with her.
As the New York Post now reported, the photographer is said to have crossed the border into Mexico on foot at around 12:15 p.m. on November 12.
"She was alone, with her luggage, and appeared unharmed," the police said. It was further stated that she is considered a voluntary missing person.
Officials also believe that Kobayashi had thrown away her cell phone after arriving at the Los Angeles airport - the last message was sent on November 11.
