Mistress checks house camera: When she sees her Golden Retriever, she is totally amazed
Los Angeles (California) - He is only four months old and is just leaving his puppy status behind. His owner Erica Summers was correspondingly unsure when she left her golden retriever Beau alone for a few minutes this week. In order to be able to keep an eye on the dog at her home in Los Angeles from a distance, the Californian has purchased a surveillance camera. When she took a look after ten minutes during her outing, she was quite astonished.
Summers, who works as a stuntwoman mainly in Hollywood, had imagined a lot of chaos along the way.
"I was afraid he'd chew everything up if I left him home alone. But then I checked the ring camera(security camera, editor's note)," reads the subtitle of the video she released after her experience earlier this week.
The clip initially shows a peacefully yawning Beau. Then a hard cut follows. In a still image from the camera, the young Golden Retriever sits demurely on a chair in the living room, gazing longingly outside.
It was the complete opposite of what Summers had originally expected. But the first surprise was soon followed by a second.
Golden Retriever Beau scores twice
"When I checked the ring cam, he was waiting patiently, looking out the window to see when I was coming home," the American said in an interview with Newsweek this week.
"So of course I dropped everything and immediately rushed home to pet him and give him treats," she added to the US magazine.
Because she was so excited, Summers posted the curious clip on TikTok and Instagram. Shortly afterwards, she landed a huge viral hit on both portals.
While 5.9 million clicks and a good 550,000 likes were recorded on Instagram in just two days, the number of clicks on TikTok rose to 13.5 million in the same period, plus more than three million likes.
So Beau can not only deliver in terms of good behavior, but also on a viral level in social media. What a good puppy!
