New twist in teen murder case: video could change everything!
Delphi (USA) - The gruesome murder of 13-year-old Abigail and 14-year-old Liberty in the US state of Indiana shook the entire country in 2017. Richard Allen was found guilty - but now an explosive video is causing a stir and could shed new light on the case.

As the American television station FOX59 reports, the complete video that one of the victims recorded before his murder has appeared on the internet. Previously, only individual excerpts were known.
The video shows Richard Allen (50) on the Monon High Bridge in Delphi, which earned him the infamous nickname "Bridge Guy". It also documents the last moments of the two girls, Libby German and Abby Williams.
The clip played a crucial role in the trial that ended in November 2024 with the 50-year-old's conviction.
But now that the full video is publicly available, the case is once again being hotly debated. Many passages of the video offer room for different interpretations and raise new questions about the perception of the justice system in dealing with this shocking crime.
Is Richard Allen not "The Bridge Guy" at all?

The conviction of Richard Allen in the Delphi murders is now in disrepute. A central argument of the prosecution in the trial was the video in which the sound of a gun being fired could allegedly be heard.
However, following the release of the clip, many are now questioning whether this is not simply the sound of gravel and branches being stepped on.
There are also doubts about the firearm analysis: it is said that it has not been clearly established whether the cartridge found actually came from Allen's gun. DNA analyses also failed to link him to either the crime scene or the victims.
In addition, there are contradictory eyewitness statements that describe the suspect in different ways. A further indication that the 50-year-old may be innocent.
Critics call for his case to be re-examined

The full video emerged one day after Richard Allen's lawyers filed an appeal against his conviction with the Indiana Court of Appeals.
The explosive footage was published on the website"Justice for Rick Allen", which is apparently run by supporters of the 50-year-old who want to prove his innocence.
Critics are now calling for a re-examination of key evidence and witness statements to ensure that justice is done inthe case of the murders of Libby and Abby.
