Dallas (USA) - A huge scare at the end of the year! The soccer dream coupleAlisha Lehmann (25) and Douglas Luiz (26) were hit around two months ago, while NFL professionalJoe Burrow (28) was only hit a few weeks ago. Time and again, the homes of sports celebrities are targeted by burglars. This time it was Slovenian basketball player Luka Dončić (25).

An as yet unknown perpetrator has broken into the NBA superstar's house in Dallas and stolen valuables in the high five-figure range. This has been reported by several media outlets.
According to an internal police report obtainedby "The Dallas Morning News", jewelry worth 30,000 US dollars (the equivalent of around 28,800 euros) was stolen during the break-in last Friday.
According to the report, the wanted man smashed a window of the building between 5 and 9 p.m. (local time) and gained unauthorized access to the premises.
"No one was home at the time and luckily Luka and his family are safe," Lara Beth Seager, manager of the 1.98-meter Dallas Mavericks pro, told the US daily. "Luka has filed a police report and the investigation is ongoing."

The property itself is monitored by security forces. However, it is not known whether they were on site at the time of the crime.
It is also unclear how many people were ultimately involved in the robbery. Investigations are now underway to gain further insights.
For Dončić, who has been under contract with the former team of "German wunderkind" Dirk Nowitzki (46) since 2018, it is another bitter setback in an already difficult year, as the 2017 European champion has experienced an emotional rollercoaster ride with six injuries.
The 25-year-old is currently forced to take a break for several weeks due to a strain in his left calf.
