Nine puppies abandoned in the freezing cold: The fate of these furry friends is heartbreaking!
New Jersey (USA) - The festival of love is approaching. But there are still cold-hearted people!

This was also the case in Clark, in the US state of New Jersey. There, unknown persons abandoned nine puppies in the freezing cold.
As reported by abc7, a walker noticed a bucket whose contents seemed to be moving. A look inside finally revealed the freezing pups to the man. He then informed the police.
Officers from the Clark Township Police collected the dogs in sub-zero temperatures, took them to the police station and then contacted an animal shelter.
According to the shelter's employee Danielle Mania, the little four-legged friends were in a pretty bad state. The cold, hunger, thirst and flea infestation were wearing them out. One of them so badly that he did not survive the ordeal.

Animal rescuers worry about the puppies' mother dog
Meanwhile, the remaining eight fragile animals are being lovingly cared for by keepers. "They are safe now, but their fight is far from over - and they urgently need your help!" the animal shelter announced on Facebook.
The facility is asking for donations so that the puppies can continue to be nursed and receive medical care.
The animal rescuers do not know how the pups' mother is doing. Concerns about the dog's whereabouts and condition continue to spread. "It breaks our hearts. We don't know, has the mother died? What happened to her?" says Danielle Mania.
