Police break up drug party in hotel room!
Bangkok - Police in Bangkok have arrested 124 people at a party with illegal drugs.

Police received a tip-off early Sunday morning about a "drug party" in a hotel room in the center of the Thai capital, police officer Pansa Amarapitak said on Monday.
Photos released by police show a room full of mostly male suspects in handcuffs and wearing only underwear.
31 of the 124 people were in possession of banned drugs such as crystal meth, ecstasy and ketamine, Pansa said. In addition, 66 of them had tested positive for traces of these drugs.
Most of the party guests were released after questioning.
Thailand is an important hub for the illegal drug trade in Southeast Asia. Police raids are frequent, and officers often confiscate hard drugs such as heroin and methamphetamine.

The country has strict drug laws. Possession of drugs such as ecstasy and methamphetamine can result in a prison sentence of up to ten years.
