Porn superstar with "permanent disability" after coma! Family sues rehab clinic

Malibu (USA) - The family of Emily Willis (25) has had a terrible year: the former porn superstar suffered a cardiac arrest in a rehab clinic in Malibu in February 2024 and then spent around two months in a coma. The US-American now has to live with a "permanent disability". Her family believes the rehab clinic made serious mistakes - and is taking legal action!

From a celebrated adult star with more than two million Insta followers and fans all over the world to a nursing case: Emily Willis' story is tragic and her family is suffering. Above all because she assumes that it didn't have to end so dramatically.

Emily Willis' lawyers write in a lawsuit (which is available to the Daily Star, among others) that she is "permanently disabled" following her treatment for a "ketamine addiction" in a rehab clinic.

"Summit Malibu" and its parent company "Malibu Lighthouse Treatment Centers, LLC" are accused of "abuse of an adult in need of care, professional negligence and deceptive business practices."

Willis is reportedly still in a twilight state after her cardiac arrest and has severe brain damage.

Emily Willis would have had "the opportunity to take back control of her life"

The family and lawyers accuse the rehab clinic of not taking the young woman's rapidly deteriorating state of health seriously. According to them, Willis should have been hospitalized long ago.

"Had the staff followed standard medical protocols, Emily would have had the opportunity to regain control of her life," reads the lawsuit filed on December 27, 2025.

"No patient should ever be subjected to such a horrific failure of clinical care. Her medical condition was ignored until it was too late, and now her life is forever changed."

According to her lawyers, Willis has been able to move her eyes again for some time, but not her body. She is also still unable to speak. A full recovery seems impossible.
