"Power Rangers" star pushes pensioner off rollator - jail!
Idaho (USA) - Power Rangers star Hector David Jr. (35) has been sent to prison. A judge in the US state of Idaho found it proven that the celebrity brutally pushed a disabled pensioner to the ground during an argument.
The actor was sentenced to 180 days in prison. The 35-year-old must also complete 100 hours of community service. This was reported by the portal TMZ.
The accusation: The actor had argued with a disabled pensioner over a parking space outside a shopping center in Nampa (Idaho) in July last year.
What followed were unpleasant scenes: The actor brutally pushed the man off his walker. The star then got into his pick-up truck and simply took off.
After a short public manhunt, David Jr. was identified following a tip-off from the public.
Fortunately, his victim did not suffer any serious injuries.
Hector David Jr. goes to jail for 45 days
Now the conviction for grievous bodily harm.
Good news for the star: he only has to serve 45 days of the 180 days in prison - that was the decision of Judge Matthew B. Schelstrate. Provided the celebrity does not commit any offences over the next two years.
Hector David Jr. played the role of the green samurai ranger in 45 episodes of the popular series "Power Rangers Samurai" from 2011 to 2012.
This was followed by numerous smaller roles on TV. The actor was last seen in the Netflix production "The Merry Gentlemen" in 2024.
