As reported bythe Daily Mail, Victoria Kurman (23) and Alexander Golubev (24) were actually considered the perfect couple. They lived together, had adopted a cat and had a seemingly harmonious relationship.

But then Victoria was found dead in a barrel. It turned out that Alexander had strangled her and tried to hide the body.

He was convicted, but now released after only three months in prison to fight in the war in Ukraine . However, instead of being on the front line, he is reportedly working in the office and living a comfortable life.

According to"StarHit", Victoria's mother Olga was surprised that her daughter no longer contacted her as usual and that there were no personal meetings.

She could only be reached via Alexander's cell phone - either she had lost her phone, the battery was empty or the charging cable had disappeared. Even when she called or spontaneously visited Olga, Alexander always gave her excuses.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old's body began to decompose in the apartment.

Olga noticed the unpleasant smell and even opened the windows on the balcony to let in some fresh air.

When she stepped onto the balcony of the apartment, she noticed a suspicious barrel. Curious, she opened the lid, which was sealed with tape, and looked inside. What she saw made her blood run cold. She immediately alerted the police.

The officers opened the lid completely and discovered hair - it quickly became clear that it was Viktoria's body.

Alexander was convicted, but the motive for the crime is still unclear. It is suspected that financial reasons played a role.

After completing his military service, he is to be released and his conviction for murder is to be erased from the criminal record.
