According to initial information, the reason for this was racist shouts in the direction of the Serbian Juve player Dušan Vlahović (24).

In the sixth minute of the match - after a header by the Serbian - scandalous insults are said to have been shouted from the visitors' section of the 41,507-seater Allianz Stadium. This was also confirmed by the paid streaming provider DAZN during the live broadcast.

As a result, referee Maurizio Mariani (42) interrupted the Serie A clash with the score at 0-0 and asked the professionals from both teams to join him.

An announcement was also made over the stadium loudspeakers informing the crowd that the match would be abandoned in the event of another such incident. The game was restarted in the eighth minute.

Hostility against ex-Florence snapper Dušan Vlahović

Vlahović had worn the jersey of the club from Tuscany for four years. At the end of January 2022, the 24-year-old moved to the Old Lady in Turin for the impressive sum of €83.5 million.

Since then, the 1.90-metre-tall striker has repeatedly been subjected to verbal attacks and wild insults from Florence supporters.
