Royal time out: how William and Kate enjoy their Easter break in private

London (United Kingdom) - Easter is also just around the corner for the royals . But while King Charles (76) will be attending the traditional church service in Windsor, some of the family will be withdrawing. Prince William (42) and Princess Kate (43) are spending the holidays with their children far away from the hustle and bustle of the public eye.

William and Kate are treating themselves to a quiet Easter break away from the royal spotlight this year.

As the British magazine Hello! reports, they are spending the holidays together with their three children at Anmer Hall, their country estate in Norfolk - a family retreat where they can relax and recharge their batteries.

The royals have already taken a break from their public commitments in recent weeks, as Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6) are on school vacation.

This is the second time in a row that the royal couple have missed the church service. The family did not attend last year - just a few days earlier, Kate had made her cancer diagnosis public in a moving video message.

However, King Charles and Queen Camilla (77) are expected to attend the Easter service in St. George's Chapel in Windsor - Buckingham Palace announced this last week. The royal regulars will also be there: Duchess Sophie (60), Prince Edward (61) and Princess Anne (74).
