Berdyansk - It is an act that is causing horror. In the Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Berdyansk, a 14-year-old girl is said to have beaten a seven-year-old girl to death with a hammer. Apparently, the alleged killer wanted to emulate a notorious serial killer.

When the little girl did not return home from playing with her friends on Friday evening, her worried mother contacted the police. A day later, they found the maltreated body of the seven-year-old in a wooded area, reports the 360° TV channel.

A 14-year-old girl from the neighborhood quickly became the focus of the investigation. The schoolgirl was taken into custody on Saturday. She admitted her crime and had probably planned the murder for a long time.

"I went out, first took my bag, a hammer, my diary in which I write everything down," said the suspected killer in a calm voice during interrogation. "I see her coming, the little girl."

She then approached her victim, led her to a secluded wooded area under a pretext, unpacked the hammer and hit the innocent girl - until she was dead. She had chosen the exact spot beforehand.

She also casually said that the hammer got caught in her headphones. She had taken the murder instrument home with her after the crime and cleaned it thoroughly there. She also said that she had murdered other people - this information has not yet been confirmed by the investigators.

During the interrogation, the killer openly admitted to the gruesome murder.

Bloody deed in Berdyansk: Alleged perpetrator apparently inspired by serial killer Alexander Pichushkin

Next to the body, the killer left a note in which she confessed her love for convicted serial killer Alexander Pitschuschkin (51), reports 360°. The 14-year-old apparently wanted to emulate him - like her role model, she chose a hammer as her murder weapon.

Pitschuschkin, also known as "The Chessboard Murderer", caused fear and terror in Moscow in the 2000s. He was proven guilty of 49 murders. After his arrest in 2006, the supermarket employee stated that he had intended to kill 64 people - the number of squares on a chessboard.
