A tent stands on the beach in the Australian coastal town of Byron Bay. Inside it: Two shadows making suspicious movements.

It is not known exactly who is in the tent. Only the silhouettes of the two people can be made out.

Judging by the outlines, it quickly becomes clear what is really going on there. The unknown couple are apparently having sexual intercourse in public - and are also being filmed.

The spicy video was published a few days ago on the Instagram page called "Lords of Byron Bay" and appropriately accompanied by the song "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More Baby" by Barry White. "Tents on the beach", read the caption.

Instagram users were highly amused by the arousing clip. While one person found the act quite "embarrassing" in public, one guessed: "I bet it's a million degrees in there."

Sexual intercourse in public can be punished

What the lust-stricken couple probably didn't realize during their hot little romp: sex in public is strictly forbidden in the Australian state of New South Wales.

Anyone caught doing so has to dig deep into their pockets: According to the Daily Mail , you could face a fine of up to 1100 Australian dollars (the equivalent of around 660 euros). In serious cases, you could even be jailed for up to six months.

It is not known, however, whether the two newts were reported to the authorities.
