"She died doing what she loved": Parachutist (†37) gets caught in propeller
Derby (USA) - Tragic accident in the USA: enthusiastic skydiver and photographer Amanda Gallagher (†37) crashed into a propeller and died from her injuries.

According to the New York Post, the 37-year-old was taking photos at an airfield in the US state of Kansas on Saturday when the accident happened.
She was taking photos of people getting on and off airplanes when she ran backwards into an active propeller.
Rescue workers were quickly called to the scene of the accident and flew the young woman to hospital.
However, the rescue efforts were unsuccessful. She died from her serious injuries.
Her addiction was skydiving

Gallagher was a passionate photographer and took up skydiving without a skydiving partner a few weeks ago, which she became "hooked" on, according to her Instagram page .
She posted a video of herself jumping out of an airplane with the caption: "My first solo jump #skydiving what an amazing feeling, I've fallen in love."
The 37-year-old also shared a picture of herself in skydiving gear with the caption "the best feeling ever".
Friends open donation page

Following the sad accident, friends of Amanda have started a GoFundMe campaign to support her family with the funeral costs and help them deal with the tragic accident. So far, more than 7000 US dollars (around 6470 euros) have been raised.
"On October 26, Amanda died in a very sad accident while doing what she loved: skydiving and taking pictures!" the fundraising page states.
The incident is currently under investigation.
