Pebble Beach (USA) - A woman was found tied to a tree on a hiking trail in the US state of California several hours after a man allegedly threatened her with a gun.
As Daily Mail reports, a woman on a hiking trail in Pebble Beach was the victim of a frightening incident in which she was followed by a man and eventually tied to a tree.
She was walking on the trail between Haul Road and Highway 68 when she noticed a man getting closer and closer to her.
She initially stopped to give him space, but he approached her in an increasingly threatening manner and pulled out a gun.
He then tied her to a tree and fled on foot.
She remained in this helpless position for two hours until two other hikers heard her screams, freed her and alertedthe police .
The investigation is ongoing
After the incident, the woman was taken to hospital for examination. Fortunately, she was not physically attacked, injured or robbed by the man.
Despite an intensive search, which included the use of a drone, the perpetrator has so far remained untraceable.
No one matching the description of the suspect could be identified.
