Sports presenter tried it on with Meghan Markle - but she turned him down cold!

USA - Meghan Markle (43) leads a married life with her husband Prince Harry (40) and their two children. But things might have turned out differently if she hadn't turned down a sports presenter.

Former ESPN host Ryen Russillo, 49, reported that Meghan once turned him down even though he thought she was "up for grabs".

As Page Six reports, Russillo was recently a guest on the "Bill Simmons Podcast" and recalled meeting the now-Duchess in 2014.

Back then, he attended a charity football game where Meghan was also in attendance.

"They were all bikini models. So no one was really paying attention to Markle. I thought to myself: 'This is my chance. She's probably doubting herself a bit right now. She's never been as available as she is now'," the 49-year-old recalled.

However, Russillo did not take his chance directly at the game, but wrote her a message later.

He asked her if she wanted to appear on his sports show to promote the fourth season of her then series "Suits".

Although Russillo admitted that his message had ulterior motives, Meghan's response remained distant.

"It was chilling," the presenter said of her response. "She wrote, 'Oh, I don't know anything about sports, but thanks for the offer'."
