Sweet baby gift not only brings tears to the father-to-be

USA - Pregnant women are usually gifted with plenty of children's things, toys and everything else they need for their newborn at their baby shower. But one mom-to-be gave her partner an emotional gift during her party that left tears rolling down her face.

In between all the happy unpacking, chatting and joyful anticipation of the baby , Angelica Adame handed her husband a white box with very special contents.

"It felt like the right time to give it to him while the rest of our loved ones were in the room with us," the mother-to-be toldPeople. And so she handed her Isaac the gift box, which he unsuspectingly opened.

But when he saw the contents and understood their deeper meaning, the tears immediately began to roll down his face. What was inside the box was nothing more than a teddy bear for their child. However, the thought behind the gift leaves no one cold.

The cuddly toy was sewn together from scraps of old jeans that once belonged to Isaac's late mother. Long before Angelica and Isaac became a couple, his mother passed away from a rare form of cancer.

"I wanted to surprise my husband with this gift because I knew how much it would mean to him to include his mother in some way," she continues.

Because it was clear to the pregnant woman that she herself would have been deeply saddened if she hadn't had her mom with her on such a special day.

Isaac was grateful for the connection his wife had made and knew immediately who the jeans belonged to. "The denim blue color also felt right because we were having a boy," Angelica continued.

When he finally discovered the inscription "Love, Grandma Lori" on the bear, he broke down inside.

"I brought her ashes to the baby shower to have her there that way, but seeing that bear and knowing that our baby will have something of hers to be close to ... it was just overwhelming," Isaac describes his feelings.

The couple are grateful to have created something that will allow their son to remember his grandmother forever.
