Taylor Swift fans disappointed: Expensive tour book full of mistakes

USA - Yesterday, Sunday, US singer Taylor Swift (34) released her "Eras Tour Book" in Germany to mark the end of her tour - but some fans are not happy about it. Blurry pictures and spelling mistakes in the book caused a stir.

As reported by Der Spiegel, more than 800,000 copies have already been sold. Many fans waited for hours outside supermarkets to get their hands on a copy before it went on sale in the USA just over a week ago.

The pop star is charging a hefty 39.99 euros for her work, which features never-before-published images and behind-the-scenes insights.

For that price, you'd expect a flawless book - but that's obviously not the case.

Many fans who commented on social media noticed typos and spelling mistakes as well as poor image quality.

In a clip that was shared on TikTok and quickly reached over a million views, one Swiftie spoke out about the flaws. She wondered if the book was edited at all after the first draft.

In the song "this is me trying", the "t" was forgotten, so now it's just "this is me rying". The title "gold rush" was also written together in the book.

Some of the picture headings are cut off and the layout could be improved. On some double pages, the 34-year-old is pictured right in the middle of the book, making her barely recognizable in the fold.

Some users even suspect that the blurred images are screenshots from her movie "Taylor Swift The Eras Tour (Taylors Version)", as these would match the excerpts exactly.

Even if the book has a few errors, it will certainly remain a nice memento for most fans who attended the singer's concert.

Taylor Swift gives her last concert of the "Eras Tour" in Vancouver this Sunday. This marks the end of her tour after around 1.5 years and 152 shows.

Swift sold a total of more than ten million tickets and generated an estimated turnover of two billion dollars (just under 1.9 billion euros). This makes it the highest-selling tour of all time.

She performed for around three hours every evening in elaborate costumes and even made a stop in Germany.
