Third child is here: who is proudly showing us their baby happiness?

Liverpool (United Kingdom) - Last summer he had sent the motherland of soccer into ecstasy , but in the final of the European Championship the dream of the next major title since 1966 was over.

Exactly nine months and two days later, the sporting drama against Spain finally seems to be over and England international Jordan Pickford (31) is floating on baby cloud nine.

As the goalkeeper of home Premier League club Everton FC revealed late on Wednesday evening, he and his wife Megan (29) have secretly become parents again.

"Welcome to the world, our new little princess, Misty Celine Pickford - our hearts just got twice as big," the 31-year-old goalkeeper announced the birth of offspring number three on the social media platform Instagram.

Pickford also posted a series of pictures showing their happiness together. Among other things: The visibly happy couple holding their newborn in their arms. And also a snapshot of son Arlo (2019) and daughter Ostara (2023) warmly welcoming their new sibling.

Megan and Jordan Pickford have been together since they were teenagers and got married in June 2022.

The 1.85-metre goalkeeper has been under contract with Everton FC since 2017 and has since played 262 competitive matches for Liverpool FC's city rivals. He has made 71 appearances for the England national team to date.

In the "Three Lions" jersey, he was aiming for England's greatest success since 1966 at the 2024 European Championship - alongside ex-BVB professional and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham (22) and Bayern striker Harry Kane (31). However, he and his team were not grantedthe final triumph in Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
