"This young lady saved my life" - pilot gives me goosebumps

USA - It was a heartwarming moment that happened during a flight : a pilot met his bone marrow donor!

On a flight to the US state of New Jersey last Saturday, passengers witnessed an extraordinary event. Shortly after take-off, the pilot unexpectedly left the cockpit.

As the New York Post reported, he approached a woman, embraced her warmly and explained that she was his bone marrow donor.

The other guests immediately responded with applause, while one guest captured the emotional encounter on video.

The pilot announced that he was now feeling "fantastic" and told his story: "This young lady saved my life," the captain announced, mentioning that she was an even better donor match than his own brother.

He praised his rescuer as a "true heroine" and hugged her again before returning to the cockpit to thunderous applause from the passengers.
