"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden loss of our beloved Dora. She will be remembered as a beloved mother, heroine, peacemaker and extraordinary woman," it said in an emotional statement on Instagram.

A friend of the 32-year-old shared in a video on TikTok that Dora probably died on December 25. However, the cause of death was not disclosed.

On December 16, the influencer revealed on her TikTok profile that she had suffered a leg injury. However, it is not known whether this injury is connected to her death.

Dora was an absolute star on social media. More than 4.2 million people followed her on TikTok and she had 112,000 followers on Instagram. One of the reasons for this extreme reach was probably her outstanding commitment.

According toPeople, Dora came from the Zambian capital Lusaka and moved to the small village of Mapapa (near the small town of Mkushi) in 2019. Hunger, abject poverty and a lack of educational opportunities still prevail there today. The Zambian campaigned for the needs of the people and founded the organization "Footprints of Hope".

Thanks to her, a school was built that is attended by around 350 pupils. She also campaigned for protection against violence against girls and women. Early marriages were also a major issue. The TikToker helped over 500 children with education and food.

In her last clip on TikTok, which she posted around six days ago, Dora explained: "When I started adopting, people said I couldn't because of my age and because I wasn't married."

Dora's funeral will take place on Monday, December 30, the family announced on Instagram.
