Tragic accident: Founder of well-known fashion brand falls to his death
Barcelona (Spain) - He was a successful businessman and was considered a billionaire: now Isak Andic (†71) has fallen to his death during a hike.

As the Spanish clothing company Mango announced on X, Andic died in an accident on Saturday. No further details were given about the circumstances of his death.
According to Spanish media, Andic was hiking with family members around 40 kilometers northwest of the Catalan city of Barcelona.
The accident took its course at a narrow passage in the Montserrat mountains. The 71-year-old fell around 150 meters into the saltpetre caves of Collbató in front of his son.
The Turkish-born entrepreneur founded the Mango fashion brand in Barcelona in 1984. The company chain is now active in 120 countries and has almost 2,800 stores and around 15,500 employees.
Andic's fortune is estimated by Forbes magazine at 4.5 billion US dollars.

Mango boss expresses his condolences after fatal accident
Mango CEO Toni Ruiz said in a statement: "His departure leaves a huge void, but we are all, in a way, his legacy and the testimony of his achievements."
"It is up to us, and this is the best tribute we can and will pay to Isak, to ensure that Mango continues to be the project that Isak aspired to and would be proud of," Ruiz said.
Andic founded the first Mango store in Barcelona in 1984 with the help of his older brother Nahman.
