Tragic death in daycare center: But Henry (†1) saves the life of another child
Cairns (Australia) - Last Thursday was just another day for Aaron and Rachel Spletter as they dropped their son Henry off at nursery. But little did they know that it would be the last time they would see their son alive.

A report in the Daily Mail tells the tragic story of the young family. Last Thursday, the parents received an unexpected call from their son's daycare center in Cairns , Australia .
Henry, who was just 22 months old, suddenly stopped breathing. They immediately called 911 and the paramedics flew the boy to the nearest hospital.
They tried everything to keep Henry alive, but two days later the little man lost the fight for his life. He succumbed to the consequences of an "unsurvivable brain injury".
Despite their deep sadness, Aaron and Rachel described their angel as "wonderful in every way" in a heartbreaking tribute.
"He was a very active boy, once he got up you couldn't stop him," mom Rachel recalled.

Henry's heart continues to beat in another body

"To the best of our knowledge, the staff provided excellent first aid and we are grateful to them, as well as the emergency services and the staff in the intensive care units."
It is still unclear what caused Henry to choke to death. The police investigation is still ongoing, but his death has already been classified as "not suspicious".
The couple decided to release Henry's heart for organ donation. In fact, within hours, the heart was "successfully transferred to another little boy or girl".
Meanwhile, Stuart Brown, a family friend, launched a fundraising appeal on the donation site GoFundMe to support Aaron, Rachel and their newborn daughter Aubrey.
Within a few days, over 67,000 euros had already been raised.
