Camp de Mar (Spain) - Today, Sunday, a 31-year-old vacationer was seriously injured when shefell from the seventh floor of her hotel in Mallorca .

The French woman , who was on vacation with her parents and brother, fell from the balcony of her hotel room at around 12.30 p.m. - seven stories down. She landed near the hotel pool.

According to the Spanish daily Ultima Hora, she suffered a cardiovascular arrest.

The pool attendant was on the spot immediately and began first aid measures to save the vacationer's life. It was only when the emergency services arrived that the 31-year-old was stabilized and taken to hospital.

Despite all efforts, the woman is still in a critical condition in the intensive care unit.

It is still unclear exactly what caused the fall. The police have started an investigation to determine the exact cause.
