Unnoticed for three days: Mother dies in restaurant toilet!
Blackpool (United Kingdom) - While guests ate and drank in the restaurant, a mother (†47) lay dead unnoticed in the disabled toilet for several days.
According to the Daily Mail, Sabrina Marlynn Lyttle lay in a disabled toilet at The Gurkha Buffet Restaurant, Hotel and Bar for three days until her body was finally discovered, according to her heartbroken daughter Jade Casey, 27.
Neither her daughter nor her mother, Christine Lyttle (68), can explain exactly what she was doing there.
Sabrina had been struggling with her drug problem for the past 27 years - but no drugs were found on site.
Jade is devastated because she knows that while her mother was in the toilet, people were dining without noticing.
Sabrina Lyttle was only found after three days in the restaurant's disabled toilet
Apparently, no regular toilet checks were carried out during this time, so the 47-year-old was left alone in the cold, deserted toilet.
The exact cause of death has not yet been determined.
Her relatives fear that Sabrina may have been in a helpless situation and could have been saved if someone had found her earlier.
A family friend has set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to cover the funeral costs and transfer a portion of the donations to a support organization for alcohol and drug addicts, which had supported Sabrina during her long battle with addiction.
