Out for the bucks: Nesquik must banish rabbits
Mexico - It's all over for the Nesquik bunny - at least in Mexico . Because the long ear is banned from packaging there.

The background to this is that the local government is taking action against foods high in sugar - partly because obesity is on the rise in the country. Mascots are no longer allowed to attract children in particular to unhealthy products.
The Swiss food company Nestlé, which owns the Nesquik brand, has now had to react. In addition to the missing rabbit, two black warning labels - "Too much sugar" and "Too many calories" - now adorn the yellow packaging.
As theTagesanzeiger reports, there are even differences in terms of sugar content. While chocolate cereals in Mexico contain 15.14 grams per 100 grams, in Germany the figure is 22.1 grams.
According to Nestlé, national rules are behind this. In Germany and other countries, however, the rabbit remains on the packaging.
