Woman calls vet when bulldog suddenly can no longer walk: Then everything becomes clear to her

United Kingdom - Lou Swain is the proud owner of two French Bulldogs. But she still hasn't quite figured out the idiosyncrasies of her dogs...

In a video on her TikTok channel @luvbulldogg, Lou said that she wanted to go on a trip to the forest with her two four-legged friends.

When they got there, the British woman took them for a walk. A short time later, "Dolly" suddenly started behaving strangely. The young bulldog stiffened and could no longer stand up. "I thought she was dying," reported the owner, who was in shock at the time.

So she called a vet, who immediately gave the all-clear during the phone call. Dolly was neither seriously ill nor was she dying. Instead, the furry friend simply didn't feel like going for a walk.

"She just didn't like the mud between her toes," Lou explained her dog's behavior. Because Dolly wasn't keen on exercise in the fresh air, the little adventure in the forest had to be cut short.

"She hated every minute of it and we had to go home after ten minutes. It's probably best at home after all." Pictures show the little bulldog sitting defiantly on the lap of one of her owners in the car at the end of the outing.

The clip, which has now been viewed more than 66,000 times, made the TikTok community laugh. "They are simply the best dogs," commented one user.

Others were reminded of their own dog's behavior: "Mine would rather run on the sidewalk than on the beautiful green grass because there was morning dew."

Although French Bulldogs are fun-loving and very lively animals, they do not need much exercise, unlike other members of their species. About an hour a day is enough for this breed of dog.
