Woman checks dog cam at party: When she sees her golden retriever, her heart breaks
Boston (USA) - This pet camera is a double-edged sword: on the one hand, Julia (31) from Boston can use it to watch her beloved golden retriever Wally from a distance. On the other hand, she has to come to terms with what she sees. A few days ago, her owner was at a Christmas party. When Julia checked her dog cam there again, her heart broke.

While the 31-year-old was looking at her cell phone, she was filmed by someone else. The video went viral on TikTok earlier this week.
In the clip, Julia enlarges her display. This is because the animal camera is filming the golden retriever, who is looking directly into the lens - and looks pretty damn lonely. "And that's my cue to leave," Julia writes in the comment next to it.
Julia, who was actually in a celebratory mood, broke off the party to put her furry friend out of his misery as quickly as possible. This goes down extremely well with the audience.
Although the clip was only posted two days ago, it has now received eleven million clicks and more than 1.7 million likes.
Newsweek therefore contacted Julia to find out more details.
Viral TikTok video shows touching moment with the golden retriever

"We often check the camera when we leave the house, but that night we got a report that there was movement downstairs. We opened it and saw him there looking at the camera," she told US magazine.
Her golden retriever is sweet and goofy, she said. He really loves being with her and her partner, the mistress said. That's why she often leaves many events earlier than planned.
The dog camera calms her down because she can then see what Wally is up to. But: "She can also make you a bit sad," admits the US American.
That should make it clear who wears the pants at home. A little tip: he has four legs and the perfect puppy dog eyes.
