Woman films golden retriever cuddling with baby - what he then does makes tears of laughter flow

Ohio (USA) - In September of this year, Erica Carillon (33) became the mother of a little boy. Since then, she can't get enough of watching the little one and her golden retriever grow closer.

This was also the case recently when she held little Milo in her arms and dog Pepper kept nudging the baby's foot with her snout.

It warmed Erica's heart. She was sure that Pepper was trying to cuddle the newborn.

Without further ado, she pulled out her camera to capture the cute moment - and shortly afterwards couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Instead of gently teasing Milo, Pepper had completely different plans. After nudging the child's foot repeatedly, she finally grabbed the little one's sock between her teeth - and gently pulled it towards her.

"I had the camera on, hoping to immortalize a sweet moment," Erica has since laughed in an interview with Newsweek. "But it wasn't until she pulled off his sock that I realized her true intentions."

As soon as Pepper had taken the garment, she sat on the floor "holding onto her new, prized possession".

The 33-year-old has since shared the clip on her TikTok account, making it a real viral hit: the video has already been viewed more than 2.8 million times in a very short space of time.

But it wasn't just because of the online success that Erics couldn't hold the theft against her four-legged friend.

"Pepper may be a sock thief, but she's part of our family and the best dog we could have wished for our children," Erica continued to gush to Newsweek.

"She patiently waits for Milo to be old enough to play with her and constantly drops toys near him when he cries."
