USA - Amber Yackzan (26) certainly wasn't expecting this bargain when she visited one of her favorite second-hand stores. Of course, she had to take this dress home with her.

The 26-year-old from the US state of Kentucky paid a visit to the vintage store "Goodwill" last week.

The American found what she was looking for in the nightwear department. A cream-colored lace dress immediately caught her attention. When she read "Christian Dior" on the label, it was a no-brainer.

She told"Newsweek" that she literally "freaked out" when she saw the dress. She is currently very much into the trend where nightwear dresses are converted into day dresses.

"It fits like it was made for me and I already have the perfect outfit planned for it," Amber said. It only got better when she paid for the bargain. She put a paltry 6 dollars, the equivalent of 5.30 euros, on the table for the dress.

The young woman then presented her new purchase on TikTok, which has already received hundreds of thousands of clicks.

Although she had originally planned to wear her new acquisition with cowboy boots, the 26-year-old changed her mind.

For dinner with her husband, Amber opted for black flip-flops instead. She wore a light gray cardigan over the dress. A combination that not every user liked.

"I have a handful of iconic finds that I consider my favorite second-hand store buys, and this one definitely fits into that category. It's perfect for spring and fits in perfectly with my current style."

The young woman knows that such finds also have a little to do with luck, "but to find great pieces, you have to go often and be open-minded," she adds as a tip.
