Woman tries to trick cat: she didn't expect this reaction!
Michigan (USA) - A family tries a trick to stop their cat from using a flower pot as a litter box. But this kitty is not so easily tricked.
American Beth Thompson (48) recently adopted her first cat named Butters.
In an interview with Newsweek, she reveals more about the four-legged friend: "He's been entertaining us since the day we rescued him. He's the sweetest cat and so smart."
When Butters came to live with her family, he was very ill and spent most of his time sleeping.
"But now he's healthy and full of energy," explains Thompson. And the ball of fur uses this energy to cause chaos, among other things!
The tomcat gets his way
A video went viral onThompson's TikTok account in December, reflecting the cat's chaos.
It shows the desperate measures she took to stop Butters from using her potted fig tree as a toilet. The 48-year-old had put plastic forks in the plant soil in the hope that the pussycat would leave the plant alone.
But the clever cat could not be stopped that easily. Only a short time later, the four-legged friend jumped onto the flower pot and began to pull out a fork with his mouth.
In the caption, Thompson announced that Butters had won again. However, she assured Newsweek that the fight was not over yet. She will document the rest of her journey on TikTok.
