Emily and Austin from the US state of Michigan became parents for the first time a few weeks ago. Daughter Nellie Jo saw the light of day on March 5.
After an extensive postpartum period, mom, dad and baby are now finally exploring the outside world. Emily and her husband were particularly keen to see how their daughter would react when she came into contact with nature.
For this reason, the camera was pulled out when Nellie Jo touched grass for the first time. In the clip, you can see father Austin holding the little girl barefoot across the meadow before carefully bringing her into contact with the grass.

But a few seconds after the two-month-old girl touches the delicate green, she starts to grin sweetly.
"What do you think?" mom Emily can be heard asking her daughter. "Are you grounding yourself?" Meanwhile, the baby herself is curiously examining the grass with her tiny, bare toes.
Based on her reaction, Nellie's mother concludes: "She loves it." It really does seem as if the girl is enjoying the fresh air. Contact with the meadow seems to really relax the baby.
The video, which was published on TikTok and Instagram , among others, has already received several million clicks. Viewers are completely enchanted by this first time and many suspect that she must belong to an earth sign in the astrological sense or at least be a true "nature baby".
For Nellie's parents, the situation was a real "spiritual experience", jokes mother Emily. "Honestly, it was just too cute, lol 🙈🤍", she adds.
