Trap in the hotel: woman is struck by shock when she sees this expensive extra item

Las Vegas (Nevada) - What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? Not this time! Alexia Muller from Los Angeles wants the whole world to know what happened to her at the five-star Hotel Vdara. After all, millions of people have already clicked on her "warning video" on TikTok .

The reason: when the Californian was staying with friends in the Las Vegas hotel at the beginning of the month, she was suddenly shown an extra item on her TV that was quite something.

Muller was asked to pay 58 US dollars (51.59 euros) for a package from the minibar that contained a few condoms and lubricant. On the one hand, the woman was shocked by the price, and on the other, because she hadn't even used it.

In her video, the young woman gives free rein to her emotions. She puts her hand to her face in horror and shows the price displayed on her TV. Then she storms to the minibar and presents the "love kit".

But why did the hotel charge this horrendous price when Muller hadn't even used the condoms etc.?

The corresponding TikTok video goes viral

Of course, the US-American wanted to know that too. So she called reception. It turned out that the minibar had sensors. So it was enough that the tourist had previously taken the kit out of the fridge with amusement and put it back again.

At least the Las Vegas visitor got through to a friendly member of staff at reception. "She said that this happens all the time and that she would cancel the charge," Muller told Newsweek in an interview.

But the next scare was soon to follow. When she wanted to check out with her friends from the Vdara, the TikTok user discovered that they had also been charged for drinks and snacks that had been on the counter. But they hadn't even consumed them.

"My friends and I thought it was kind of funny because we thought the price was outrageous," Muller told the US magazine. Fortunately, her complaint was heard this time too. The extra costs were canceled.

However, a bland aftertaste remains. The fact that Vdara refused to comment to Newsweek despite repeated requests is all the more fitting!
