Horror restaurant closed: Pigeons kicked to death and sold as crispy duck
Madrid - The owners of an Asian restaurant allegedly sold pigeons they had killed themselves on the street as crispy ducks.

The city police in the Spanish capital Madrid have uncovered disgusting conditions in an Asian restaurant called "Jin Gu" after several customers complained of feeling unwell as a result of their visit.
During a search of the restaurant, officials discovered around 300 kilograms of rotten meat, some of which had been hung up to dry on clothes racks, as well as cockroaches and rats, according to the Spanish newspaper"El Mundo".
The most unappetizing find: several dead pigeons. According to the report, the restaurant owners allegedly hunted the birds on the street and killed them with kicks before plucking them and selling them on the menu as crispy duck.
The horror store was justifiably closed down. The owners are not only being investigated for endangering public health, they also have to answer for killing the pigeons.

Even before the closure, several customers complained about the quality of the food they ordered. In January, for example, one user wrote on theTripadvisorplatform in his one-star review: "Disgusting. Terrible food in very poor condition. The duck had a strange taste."
