Kansas City (Missouri/USA) - Joy in the Mahomes household! The "Kansas City Chiefs" star and his wife have become parents for the third time.

Patrick (29) and Brittany (29) shared this happy news in a joint post on Instagram yesterday (Monday).

It shows the newborn baby girl's feet being held tightly by mom and dad.

The little one's name is written underneath: Golden Ray. In German, this means golden ray.

An unusual name that should come as no great surprise to fans of the family. Most people had already expected something similar.

"I had guessed Goldie," shared a follower under the picture.

The reason for this: Golden's siblings already have extremely atypical names. The newborn's big sister is called Sterling Skye (3) - silver heaven - and her brother Patrick "Bronze" (2).

So the Mahomes have Gold, Silver and Bronze together. For the footballer , however, all three are certainly the absolute top prize.

Incidentally, the little girl was born on Sunday, January 12.

Brittany announced her pregnancy back in July last year with a sweet Instagram video in which she poses with Patrick and presents ultrasound videos.

Meanwhile, Sterling and Bronze dance enthusiastically around the room. The whole family is dressed in white and beige.

The 29-year-old happily wrote: "Round three, here we come" and "Blessings upon blessings."

Mahomes and his wife are true high school sweethearts. The two met when they both attended a school in Whitehouse, Texas.

The two were eventually in a relationship for ten years until they tied the knot in March 2022.
