Former Hollywood child star dies at the age of 98
Beverly Hills (USA) - The American actress Cora Sue Collins, known from the popular film "Anna Karenina" among others, has died at the age of 98.

As her daughter Susie Krieser told the"Hollywood Reporter", Collins died on April 27 at the age of 98 at her home in Beverly Hills following a stroke.
The actress had celebrated her birthday just a few days earlier.
Collins' career began at the age of just four - and completely unexpectedly: a woman discovered her when she was on her way to school registration with her mother and sister.
Shortly afterwards, she was invited to a major audition at Universal - the start of her stellar career as a child.
Cora Sue Collins was a successful child star in Hollywood
Just two years later, she appeared in ten films, including classics such as "Black Moon", "The Scarlet Letter", "The World Accuses" and "Treasure Island".
At the age of 18, however, Cora Sue Collins turned her back on the movie world. "I wanted to enjoy the luxury of anonymity," she later said about her retreat from the limelight.
