New York (USA) - The trial surrounding scandalous rapper Sean Combs alias P. Diddy (55) has been going on for more than a week now - and more and more gruesome details are coming to light.

In the past few days, it became known that the musician is said to have brutally abused his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura (38).

But as Page Six now reports, the allegations are even more serious than initially assumed.

During the trial, new evidence was presented in the form of photos showing her injuries.

One of the pictures shows Cassie with a severely swollen lip, another shows a burst eyebrow. She suffered these injuries after trying to flee from a so-called "Freak Off" party, which had become increasingly violent.

At these events, Diddy allegedly forced not only the 38-year-old but also other women to engage in sexual acts with men or escorts and watched them. He allegedly even filmed the orgies and blackmailed the singer with the footage.

However, the 55-year-old witnessed her escape from the party, which ended in a brutal beating attack on the singer.

According to the New York Post, a former employee also testified in court and reported how Diddy described his partner at the time.

"I got her right where I want her, she's young and (...) very malleable," the 55-year-old is reported to have said.

In 2007, the associate spoke to Cassie, the main witness in the case. When asked why she didn't leave Diddy, she replied that she couldn't get out - he controlled too much of her life.

Another witness reported a horrific act of violence in which Diddy allegedly threw a frying pan at Cassie.

The trial is expected to last several weeks. If P. Diddy is found guilty, he faces a life sentence.
