Something was different, something was wrong. When McKay opened her suitcase, she had the feeling that someone had rummaged through her things.

The American took a closer look and realized that her seventh sense had not deceived her. The 34-year-old even found a piece of evidence that the "perpetrators" had left in the suitcase!

A white card gave her the clue that airport security had taken a close look at her luggage. McKay posted the moment of discovery on TikTok and couldn't help but laugh. Because the reason for the check was curious!

The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) was apparently bothered by a white powder in the young woman's suitcase. However, it was not drugs at all - as security had probably assumed !

McKay's travel companion was a protein powder, a dietary supplement designed to help her digestion and lose excess pounds.

It was the first time she had traveled with it and immediately attracted negative attention, the 34-year-old told PEOPLE. She bought around a kilo of powder in a supermarket before her trip and then took some of it with her on the plane.

She hadn't thought that she could be targeted by airport security as a drug smuggler. It was only afterwards that she realized that her provisions would look suspicious.

McKay's video went viral on the internet , with around one million people watching the short clip on TikTok. For her next trip , the 34-year-old is now considering taking pre-packaged powders with her - so as not to arouse suspicion again.
