Bus driver beaten to death: perpetrator (15) gets free ticket
Elgin (Scotland) - A drunk teenager fatally injured a bus driver in Scotland, but will still get a free bus pass after his prison sentence.

In February 2024, Keith Rollinson refused to let the heavily intoxicated teenager onto the bus.
The then 15-year-old then attacked the 58-year-old with brutal blows to the head. Keith collapsed shortly afterwards and died of cardiac arrest in hospital, as reported by the BBC.
The teenager was eventually sentenced to four years in prison. But even after the verdict, the case continues to cause horror.
As reported by the Daily Mail , , the widow of the bus driver who was killed, Susan Rollinson (62), has now spoken out, stunned and extremely angry.
She sharply criticized the fact that the perpetrator will continue to be entitled to a free bus pass after his release.
Under 22s can travel by bus free of charge

The reason for this is the current Scottish travel scheme, which allows under 22-year-olds unlimited free travel on buses.
Rollinson has now called on the government to revoke the tickets of anyone who assaults drivers.
She has received support from the Passenger Transport Association, which has also called on ministers to consider appropriate sanctions.
