Juazeiro do Norte (Brazil) - Two sisters (36 and 38) experienced a nightmare in Brazil ! It's hard to believe what their father did to them behind closed doors.

As the Daily Mail reports, the women are said to have been held captive for around a year, drugged , tortured and repeatedly raped. The horror was only discovered on May 5 and after a tip-off from a concerned neighbor.

When the police entered the family's run-down house, there was garbage strewn everywhere and faeces on the walls.

One of the sisters was unconscious, the other was tied up. Both were malnourished, dehydrated and in a poor mental state.

The women were immediately taken to hospital, where they described their nightmare and received treatment.

According to the report, the ordeal began around a year ago when their mother left for a doctor's appointment and never returned.

Since then, the 68-year-old father apparently held the daughters captive, tied them to filthy mattresses and regularly molested them.

According to the police, the man said he only tied them up so they wouldn't fall out of bed.

The father was immediately arrested and charged with aggravated abuse, mental and domestic violence and unlawful imprisonment. He is currently in custody.
