Koçani - Heroic death in the flames: A singer (†43) repeatedly rescued fans from a burning discotheque in North Macedonia - until he died himself.

The devastating fire in the Pulse nightclub killed at least 59 people on Sunday night and injured 155 others.
According to the North Macedonian news platform Sloboden Pečat, musician Andrej Gjorgjieski was among the victims.
The singer of the band "DNK" was on stage when a fountain set the roof on fire and panic broke out.
While many visitors ran outside, Andrej repeatedly rushed into the flames to save young fans.
Video footage allegedly shows him helping people to escape. A heroic mission that ultimately cost him his life.
He was joined in death by band photographer Aleksandar Efremov, backing singer Sara Projkovska, drummer Gjorgji Gjorgiev and keyboardist Filip Stevanovski.
