Horror on safari ranch: 14-year-old girl torn apart by lions
Nairobi (Kenya) - Horrific incident on a safari ranch. In Kenya , a 14-year-old girl was the victim of a fatal lion attack.

The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) announced on Sunday that the incident took place at the Savannah Ranch, south of the capital Nairobi.
A lioness managed to get past the barriers in the evening and sneaked into a residential area on the ranch, reports"The Nation". The big cat then attacked, grabbed the girl and literally tore her apart.
Another teenager witnessed the attack and immediately raised the alarm. But by then it was already too late. The lioness dragged her victim into the savannah.
"Rangers and task forces were immediately mobilized and tracked traces of blood," explained the KWS. The tracks had led to the Mbagathi River, "where the girl's body was recovered with injuries to her lower back".
Savannah Ranch is located on the edge of Nairobi National Park, where many lions, giraffes and rhinos live. The 14-year-old girl who was killed lived on the ranch with her parents and also went to school there.
It is still completely unclearwhere the man-eating lion is staying. The authorities have set traps. The search for the animal continues.
